Underwater ecosystems like coral reefs are unique hotspots of life and essential to the health of our ocean and planet.
From Cleanup to Ocean Regeneration
Beneath the surface, coral reefs and marine habitats support biodiversity, protect coastlines, and sustain local communities, yet they are increasingly threatened by pollution, warming waters, and habitat loss. We remove underwater debris, restore damaged reef structures, and support marine species recovery through research, citizen science, and dive-based conservation.
We seek to move beyond cleaning up our oceans and into restoring them as thriving ecosystems where marine life flourishes and people can experience their full beauty and value. This work also creates opportunities for youth, inspires regenerative ocean tourism, and builds skills for future ocean stewards.

We Are Restoring Life Along The Coast
Beaches are gathering places where we relax, play, and connect with nature, yet many suffer from litter, plastic pollution, and damaged habitats.
We clean up waste brought in by tides or left behind, protect coastal species like nesting sea turtles, and restore the natural balance of these ecosystems. We seek to move beyond cleaning up pollution and into restoring beaches as healthy coastal environments where plants and animals can thrive, and where people can enjoy their fullest value and beauty.

Healthy mangroves protect coastlines, nurture marine life, and create living gateways between land and sea.
We Protect the Guardians of the Coast
Mangroves filter pollutants from our waterways, stabilize shorelines, and provide vital nursery habitats for countless species. Yet they often become traps for trash during rainy seasons and are frequently used as dumping grounds.
We remove debris from these hard-to-reach ecosystems and restore mangrove health so wildlife can thrive and communities can benefit from their protection and beauty. Through kayak-based access, education, and regenerative tourism, we help people experience mangroves up close and become stewards of these essential ecosystems.

Growing the Foundations of a Resilient Future
Trees capture carbon, regulate water cycles, provide habitat for wildlife, and create vibrant green spaces for people to connect with nature. In Guanacaste and across Costa Rica, many forests face pressure from development, degradation, and fragmentation.
We collaborate with local partners to restore native vegetation, protect wildlife corridors, and strengthen the ecosystems surrounding our beaches, mangroves, and rivers. By supporting reforestation and ongoing stewardship, we help forests flourish as essential foundations of a resilient future.

Connection is as essential as environmental action. We create opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to meet, collaborate, and care for the places we share. In vibrant tourism towns like Tamarindo, where many cultures, languages, and lifestyles come together, our initiatives help build understanding, reduce division, and create a shared sense of belonging. We also work alongside other local organizations and community leaders, prioritizing partnership over competition so our collective impact can grow.

We Reimagine Waste as a Resource
We support innovative ways to reduce, reuse, and transform waste so that materials stay in circulation and out of nature. We ensure that the waste collected through our cleanups is sorted responsibly, with as much as possible recycled or repurposed rather than sent to landfill.
Through community recycling and compost initiatives, creative upcycling and art projects, and partnerships that spark new solutions, we help shift mindsets and behaviors toward a zero-waste culture. By reimagining what we throw away, we protect ecosystems, empower communities, and honor the natural cycles that sustain life.

Where Learning Comes Alive
Children and adults alike spend increasing time indoors, separated from the natural world and the impact they have on it. We design hands-on learning programs that take place outdoors, in the ecosystems we are working to protect.
Through educational programs, citizen science, guided exploration, and unique opportunities to learn directly from nature, we help individuals understand their role as caretakers of the environment. By nurturing curiosity, confidence, and real-world skills, we empower future leaders and an informed community ready to take action.
